| In September, 1999 a group from the Voronezh Children's Palace - Rovestnik- performed in Wichita, Kansas City, Topeka, Hutchinson, Salina, Dodge City, Manhattan, and Lindsborg with the Young Stars of Russia tour. Tamara and Mikhail Korenman were part of the Kansas Sterling Committee which organized the tour. | |||||||

The Rovestnik Stars of Russia will be hosted by numerous Kansas families
during their three week tour of Kansas. Each community will highlight
its citizens, educational institutions, churches, businesses and unique
attractions. Kansas and Russian citizens will learn a great deal about
each other's culture, history and lifestyle through this exchange".
