Elementary and Secondary school chess coaches, educators, parents, and volunteers

Seminar Instructors:

Grandmaster Yuri Shulman is a 1996 European Junior Champion, a winner and co-winner of the 2001 World Open, National Open, Koltanovski Memorial, 2000 and 2001 Governor’s Cup, 2002 American Open, a captain of the University of Texas – Dallas Pan American Champion Team.

 

Dr. Mikhail Korenman is a President and a coach of the Lindsborg Chess Club, organizer of the 2001 and 2002 Lindsborg Open Chess Tournament; 2nd place at the 2002 US Open in Category A.

 

Seminar requirements: Participants recommended to be involved in teaching chess at local schools or chess clubs.

 

The US Chess Federation will issue a Chess Coach Certificate for every course participant.

Additional Information:  

Tuition: $300.  3 Continuing Education credits will be available for participants ($20 fee for processing).
