NEW POINT SYSTEM TO PARTICIPATE 

AT THE SCHOLASTIC TOURNAMENTS 

Each participant will receive points for the following activities:  

  1. Attend scholastic chess tournament – 10 points.
  2. Attend 4 tournaments in one month – 50 points.
  3. Win a trophy at the scholastic tournament (individual or team) – 8 points
  4. Win a tournament game – 3 points for each game
  5. Help in organizing chess tournaments (set up chess board, clean after the tournament, assist with food service, assist tournament director during the tournament, etc) – 5 points
  6. Help to advertise the tournament (bring a friend!) – 10 points.

 Points award system:

1. 2-day winter break chess camp – FREE (value of $100) – 200 points

2. 2-day winter break chess camp – 50% off (value of $50) – 150 points

3. Chess book – (value of $20) OR one FREE tournament entrιe fee – 100 points
