Tournament format:
Non-Rated section - 5 rounds. Games/30 min. Individual/Teams. K-3, K-5, K-8, K-12 categories.
USCF-Rated Section - 4 rounds. Game/45 minutes
Awards:
Non-rated section - Individual and Team Trophies to 1-5 places on each category. Individual medals for all other participants.
Rated section - All players receive Chicago Blaze T-Shirts!
Tournament entree fee: $25 for on-line pre-registration; $35 - on-site. Cash or checks. Make checks paid to IntECS, Inc.
NOTE: This is a fundraising event. 100% procedure will be used for sponsorship of international scholastic chess teams at the FIDE-USCF-ICA sponsored Intercontinental Scholastic Team Championship March 26-29, 2009 in Skokie, IL and support the Chicago Blaze team in the US Chess League.
