The tournament is open for any amateur chess player (USCF rated bellow 2200).

Three sections: Section A (USCF rating 1600 – 2199); Section B (USCF rating 1000 – 1600); and Section C (USCF unrated – 1000).  

Early Entry fee is $20, if you pre-register on-line. On-site entrée fee is $25.

Prizes for Sections A and B: $100-60-40. For Section C: $70-30. Trophies for top scholastic players in U1000 and U600 classes.

Onsite registration: 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. On-line credit card/pay pall payments are accepted!

If paying at the door, pay cash or IL checks only (no credit cards payments on-site).

Rounds: 10:00 am; 12:30 pm; 2:45pm; 5:00 pm
Clocks and sets provided.  

USCF rated, USCF membership required. Players may take a half point bye in any round except the last round. A half point bye must be requested before the round starts. Zero point bye only in final round. K-8 scholastic players are welcome, and must be accompanied by a parent throughout the day.
