"The
Kansas-Voronezh high school exchange program have enabled students
to improve their knowledge of English, as well as learn about the
social, political, historical, and cultural background of the United
States".
Stanislav
Rogachev, Commissioner of Education, Voronezh |

"During
the past year I had the opportunity on working with Mikhail and Tamara
Korenman to prepare a group of high school students from Valley Center
to travel to Kazakhstan. The Korenman's ability to work with my students
on language and cultural awareness and their desire that we should
be as prepared as we could be was a great help when we arrived in
Kazakhstan".
Pat Thomas, Valley Center High School |

"
Both
Voronezh and Kansas have valuable experience in education. Sharing
our knowledge, ideas, programs, and models can only improve our understanding
and enrich the educational systems in our countries. More than that,
together we are more likely to succeed in solving problems, that exist
in both Russian and American education. The experience of our countries
in education requires thorough scientific investigation, comprehension,
and application to new challenges that time brings around. Our partnership
has proven its effectiveness and needs to be continued to the benefit
of our countries.
Ivan Shabanov, Governor of Voronezh Oblast |

"The three
weeks we spent in Voronezh, Russia were amazing. While we were there
we visited schools, colleges, and various industries. We got to
meet so many different people when we visited the area schools.
It was unbelievable how welcome these people made us feel. Before
going on this trip I only associated Russia with Yeltsin and St.Basil's
Cathedral. Now when I hear about Russia on the news it is not the
places I think of but the different faces".

Chapman
