In
September, 1999 a group from the Voronezh Children's Palace - Rovestnik-
performed in Wichita, Kansas City, Topeka, Hutchinson, Salina, Dodge
City, Manhattan, and Lindsborg with the Young Stars of Russia tour.
Bill Jarrell organized the tour, Tamara and Mikhail Korenman were
part of the Kansas Sterling Committee for the tour. |

The Rovestnik Stars of Russia will be hosted by numerous Kansas families
during their three week tour of Kansas. Each community will highlight
its citizens, educational institutions, churches, businesses and unique
attractions. Kansas and Russian citizens will learn a great deal about
each other's culture, history and lifestyle through this exchange".

Lindsborg Swedish Folk Dancers traveled to St. Petersburg in July,
2000. They performed at St. Catherine Church in St. Petersburg. |

A standing-room-only audience loved the Young Stars of Russia. After
their energetic program of music and dance at the Kansas State Fair,
the troupe of 42 young singers and dancers earned a standing ovation
from the crowd in a packed Farm Bureau Arena".
